Ben & Brittany Bald Rock Engagement Cleveland, South Carolina

We can’t wait for Ben & Brittany’s wedding at Daniel Chapel in February planned by Upstate I Do! We have so enjoyed getting to know these two better! Ben is a police officer down the road in Spartanburg, South Carolina and Brittany teaches 5th graders. And if there has ever been an example of why we do engagement sessions for all of our couples, it’s Ben & Brittany!

Why?

Well, Ben has a typical police officer demeanor (at least initially). Kind but reserved. Speaking only when necessary. That type of thing. At least, that’s what we noticed from our first meeting with them. But when we got Ben & Brittany in front of our cameras, Ben’s personality came through! He’s a nut!!! And we mean that in the most positive and loving sense because we absolutely loved the version of Ben we got to see at the engagement session! He never stopped making Brittany laugh. He never complained even though, let’s face it, guys don’t put photo sessions on their Christmas lists (or at least not at the top haha!). Ryan has a sense for how guys are doing during their sessions because he is very tuned in to helping our grooms feel fantastic. And he would characterize Ben as “Too cool to say how much he actually enjoyed cuddling up with Brittany for 90 minutes of photos.” And Brittany can probably attest, that’s a pretty good summation!

And on the other side, we have Brittany. If she isn’t the sweetest thing since Chick-fil-a’s Peppermint Milkshakes, we don’t know what is! She’s gorgeous. She genuinely loves Ben and it’s very clear to see. And she puts up with his crazy antics (sounds a lot like another couple we know pretty well! We’ll give you two guesses!). She’s the balancing factor for Ben and it’s a perfect match!
