The back doors open and light floods Daniel Chapel as all of your guests are waiting along the expansive aisle for your grand entrance. What more could you ask for?! The Daniel Chapel was officially dedicated on Furman’s campus in 1997, although plans for the chapel began in the 1950s! In fact, when it was announced to the Furman community that a chapel would be built on campus, alumni immediately began asking for wedding reservations, even before the chapel was open! With plenty of natural light, a beautiful campus right outside for gorgeous photos, and plenty of reception options close by, you can't go wrong with Daniel Chapel!
Ceremonies at the chapel can seat up to 350 guests, although we have photographed beautiful weddings here that housed only about 75 guests! It's beautiful in every situation. And although we have seen some incredible floral work done inside the chapel for ceremonies, it can also stand alone in its natural beauty with an awesome view of the Fisk pipe organ as you enter the sanctuary. Note: Non-Furman alumni are welcome to book the Chapel as well! Reception options are abundant. There are several places on Furman campus that you can use depending on the size of your guest list including the Younts Center, a mile from the front doors of the chapel! Other options include Green Valley Country Club, Hotel Domestique and anything located in Downtown Greenville, which is just 15 minutes away. Take a look and see if Daniel Chapel might be the right fit for your gorgeous wedding day! The chapel books up fast, so reach out to them today and secure your date!
