Gorgeous Rainy Cliffs at Glassy Mountain Wedding David & Angela | Landrum, SC

“I hope it rains on our wedding day!” said probably no bride ever! But rain is a fact of life. And the truth is, it might rain on your wedding day and that’s ok! If anyone embodies how to handle rain on your wedding day (which is NOT in any way ironic, Alanis Morissette), it would be David & Angela. We prepare in every way possible for every single wedding day, rain or shine. But we always try to exude an extra level of energy on a rainy wedding day to make sure everyone knows it’s going to be ok! And as we walked into Angela’s apartment on the morning of her wedding, we knew she was going to be just fine! She was grinning from ear to ear and said, “Looks like it’s going to be raining!” as if that was what they had been hoping for all along! And although we knew that a little bit of that was hopeful optimism, we found out as we went throughout the day that most of her attitude was completely genuine. It was a “David and I are starting our marriage and that’s really all that matters to me today” attitude and we loved it.

Despite the rain trying to wreak havoc, the clouds opened up for us at perfect times throughout the day and allowed us to capture David, Angela and their incredible group of family and friends at the Cliffs at Glassy Chapel with no problem! Besides, we are kind of partial to a few umbrella photos anyway! There’s something so romantic about it!

David & Angela, your love for each other is so obvious. The seriousness into which you walked through the doors to your new marriage gives us incredible hope for your future!
