First Look on a Rainy Wedding Day at the Old Cigar Warehouse Taylor & Alex | Greenville, SC

Between the 30 minute monsoon and the high number of happy tears, Taylor & Alex’s day at the Old Cigar Warehouse had its fair share of waterworks! We knew it was going to rain at some point this past Saturday, but we were ready for a rainy wedding day! Our app was telling us it was going to be right about the time Taylor & Alex had their first look. And as sure as the sun comes up in the East, as Ryan stood with Taylor before the first look, they watched the dark storm clouds roll in as the breeze freshened steadily. Before we knew it, we were underneath a covered area with a full tornado-force storm all around us! Ryan even had to form a wall with two umbrellas to keep Taylor & Alex from getting hit by the sideways rain!

And yet, by looking at the images, you’d never know it wasn’t sunny and 75.

A huge thank you to Taylor & Alex for trusting us to take them out in the impending storm when we told them it was going to be amazing! We have loved getting to know these two so much throughout our journey with them. But, just like a well-written novel, their wedding day was the perfect climax to an already great story!

This was one incredibly beautiful wedding day so we are going to get right to the images! But we just wanted to say that Taylor & Alex are the best kind of people. They are the people you want to see again and again. The ones that inspire those around them to be better. They are the kind of people we are so blessed to call our friends.

Taylor, Alex, we hope you’re enjoying your newly married life. So many would tell you that the first year of marriage is the hardest. And that can be true. It won’t be without its challenges. You will have to play together on the same team even when it feels like you’re not even playing the same sport sometimes. It may very well be the hardest year of your marriage.
