The Most Rewarding Year Of Our Lives

2015 was one of the most rewarding and successful years of our lives!!!

We completed some huge goals we wanted to accomplish. At the very first of the year, we launched a new brand. That seems like forever ago now, but it has just now been one full year of “Ryan & Alyssa Photography!” Wow!

We did our first-ever styled shoot in March that was featured on Wedding Chicks!!! So crazy awesome! We never imagined!

We shot 28 gorgeous-beyond-belief weddings this year. When we set our goals for the 2015, we honestly wanted more, but the Lord knew we needed that time for other important things like going to the Connect Retreat and taking time to be with new friends!

But one of the biggest goals we accomplished this year was our blogging! We set a goal to blog every single Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of 2015. We wanted to share our work, of course. But more than that we wanted to share our lives. We wanted our #RAbrides to know us. To know what we are passionate about. To know who we are at heart. And we wanted to be able to look back on our lives and remember the everyday. The moments we would have forgotten had we not written them down.

And, though we missed a few days (10 days to be exact) of blogging, we are marking this one down as completed. Why? Because we are proud of every single post we wrote. We could just throw something together at the last minute so that we never miss a day. But we believe that everything we do and say should be excellent! And we still have a long way to go!!!

This was quite the year for our blog! We cannot even begin to thank every single person who came, saw and read, and commented on our blog!!! We know so many of you are faithful readers because you tell us! And we love that!

Here are some of the stats that blow our minds and cause us to feel so undeservedly special:

13,000: Number of visits to our blog in 2015. Holy Cow!!! That’s more than triple our visits in 2014!
77%: New visitors to the blog. We are so thankful for the 23% of returning visitors every week but we love new visitors too!
144: Number of posts we wrote in 2015! 100’s of hours of work, but we know it has all been worth it!

We have some huge new goals for 2016 that we are incredibly excited about! But, before we get too far into 2016, we just have to say thank you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you are reading this, whether it’s today, tomorrow, or ever, this message is for you. The fact that you are reading this is enough. You have lifted our hearts. You have challenged us to write words with meaning. You push us forward. And we do not have the words to thank you properly for that support.

All we can say is, thank you. And we are looking forward to an amazing 2016!!!
