Victoria Valley Vineyards Surprise Proposal Allen & Mallory

Allen had been planning for months. This fall, the family barn that had been in Mallory’s family since the 1800s had to be taken down due to age. It’s where Mallory had envisioned someday getting married, so it was an emotional task for her, Allen, and the family to help take it down. Unbeknownst to her, Allen knew how much that barn meant to her, and he saved a piece of it, and tucked it away for when he would ask Mallory to marry him.

Fast forward to the beginning of December. We heard from Allen, who had already set this plan in motion to ask Mallory to be his wife. He worked with his dad to finish the piece of wood from Mallory’s family’s barn, and it made the perfect resting spot for the ring. Allen bought tickets to Biltmore for the weekend before Christmas, to throw off her suspicion, so she wouldn’t guess his actual plan of proposing to her at Victoria Valley Vineyards.

She had no idea. Allen was there, nervously waiting, as he watched for updates on when Mallory would turn the corner, and walk down the steps. As Mallory walked by the tables and chairs, she didn’t know that in just seconds her life would change forever. Her eyes met his, and he got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife. She obviously said yes!!!! And cried tears of joy, both at the moment, and at the piece of her family’s barn that he saved just for this moment.

We’re so excited for these two as they start to plan for their marriage! Congrats, Allen & Mallory! We love you guys!
