Being former D1 athletes at LSU, they know exactly what it means, what it takes, to be on a team. How to be a good teammate. The hard work, dedication, the grit, the joy and highs of winning, and the heartbreak of loss. Pushing through, good and bad, no matter what. Having each other’s back. Giving full support. Nick & Maggie have acquired “team skills” during their tennis tenure, and now, as their officiant reminded them, together they make up a team that’s going to need their skills. Teamwork – a beautiful picture of what marriage is. It takes full commitment by both sides. Both parties need to be all in, working towards a common goal. Marriage takes work, constantly, but the ripple affects of that good work will shudder throughout their legacy, from generation to generation. It’s worth it. Every single moment. Through the good times and bad. Anyone who has ever played on a team knows that. The loyalty, the love of the game and their teammates, and the drive to succeed is ingrained in every athlete. And Nick & Maggie are taking those life skills into their marriage. We loved that analogy!

Nick & Maggie’s day was perfectly sweet, with the most fun group of people, and teeming with color. Seriously, this color palette is my new obsession! And oh my goodness, the band!
