No matter the season, Hotel Domestique shines in its majestic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Italian villa hideaway vibes. Beauty (and love) surrounds you, and it’s a no brainer when our couples choose this unique location for their proposal, engagement session, bridal session, or wedding. But how that does relate to Tanner & Kristen? Oh do we have a story to tell…
Mid January, we alllll remember the snow threatening the Upstate. Well, that just happened to be the weekend Tanner planned to take Kristen up to Hotel Domestique to propose. He had the whole evening planned, complete with a celebratory dinner with their families. However, as the weekend inched closer, and the snow and icy weather increased, Tanner was forced to pivot. His new plan was taking Kristen to The Westin (where they’ll be having their reception!) and proposing indoors on the veranda outside of the of ballroom. He pulled off the surprise, and she said yes! Once their newly engaged status set in, Tanner filled Kristen in on his original plans, and they both agreed that using Hotel Domestique for their engagement session would be a nod to their proposal story. And (insert romantic sigh here!) it was perfection in every single way. Not only did the weather come to play, but Tanner & Kristen showed off their modeling skills, and spent our entire time together laughing, cuddling, and simply basking in the joy and romance that is true love.
Tanner & Kristen, thank you for sharing this season of life with us, and we’re so excited to see you two wed this summer! Enjoy this sneak peek of our time together!
