Kody & Lynsey Charleston Engagement Charleston, South Carolina

Last week, we got to meet Kody & Lynsey for the first time in person! And just like when we chatted with them several times on FaceTime, they are such fun and sweet people! We knew they were excited about meeting up with us in Charleston for their engagement session. And we knew, of the two of them, Kody was most excited! It’s such a great experience when one of our grooms is actually looking forward to getting his picture taken.

Look, we get it. Guys and photo sessions are generally not friends. But 99% of the time, by the end of the engagement session, we have converted our grooms to the point that they are excited to do it again! How much more incredible it is when they come in already excited! Kody is in that camp and we love it.

We knew right away that Lynsey was a little nervous. And most people are! She didn’t want to look “awkward.” But Kody, being the great husband-to-be that he is, exuded confidence and made Lynsey feel better and better as we went along. He brought out her smile, the giggles, and kept her laughing even if she did feel a little awkward at first. But looking at these images below, you never would’ve been able to tell that this drop dead gorgeous girl was slightly nervous!

We topped it all off with some Jeni’s ice cream at the end and talked a little bit about marriage, sports and cooking skills! We would drive to Charleston every week to hang out with Kody & Lynsey! We can’t wait for their wedding coming oh so soon! Yay!!!
