Well it’s finally starting to feel like December in Greenville! For a while there we weren’t sure we would even have to break out our favorite jackets this year! But for Matt & Marina’s Downtown Greenville engagement session last weekend, the weather was still holding onto a little piece of Fall. It was a perfect 65 degree day. Just how we like it! And Matt & Marina came prepared. Matt was looking so sharp in his black suit and Marina complimented perfectly in her white dress! Gorgeous day? Cute couple? Perfect outfits? What more could we ask for?

And guys, can we just brag on Matt for a second? Marina knows we think she is gorgeous and amazing too. But we just wanted to mention that Matt had been sick leading up to the day of their session AND he was dealing with a migraine during the entire engagement session. And yet, to look at these images, you can’t even tell. That speaks volumes about Matt. It tells you everything you need to know about how strong he is. It tells us that he’s going to be the kind of husband who will do anything (even a 90 minute engagement session!) for Marina. That’s just the kind of guy he is. And he’s perfect for Marina!

And let’s circle back to Marina for just a second. As so many of our brides are, she was a little bit nervous about the session. And hey, a lot goes into preparing for your engagement session! You have to get the right outfits picked out. You have to get your hair and makeup perfect. And you’re going into the session not really knowing what to expect! So it can be nerve-racking! But do you know what that says to us? Ryan always says it best when he’s telling our couples why we love to see them a little bit nervous.

“When you’re nervous about something, it just means that it’s important to you. And it means that whatever you’re nervous about matters to you.”

And he’s right! The fact that Marina breathed a sigh of relief that their session went perfectly just meant that it was special to her. She didn’t take those moments for granted. And that’s why we know she’s going to be a great wife for Matt!
