When we met with Joe & Danielle, we knew right away that we would love them. We felt like we could sit and talk to them for hours. Danielle and Alyssa could talk about all things shopping. Joe and Ryan could talk about their love for cool socks for days.
So when we scheduled their engagement session for a few weeks later, we were so excited about it! They wanted to do their session at the Cliffs at Glassy because of the amazing views. Joe & Danielle had considered getting married up there but decided to go with something closer to downtown Greenville. So instead they wanted to do their engagement session there!
Wellllllll…here’s what happened. When we got up there, the fog was so thick we couldn’t see 10 feet in front of us!!! If you’ve been to the Glassy Chapel, here’s a photo of it from the parking lot when we got there…yeah. You can’t barely make out the shape of the chapel!
And in case you don’t believe us, here’s a photo on a different day from a similar angle! That’s how foggy it was!!!
And here’s how cool Joe & Danielle are. We called them to tell them it was incredibly foggy and that we might have to find another solution, especially considering they wanted the views. And they said, let’s just do it! Maybe it will get better! Not a single complaint or sigh of disappointment from either of them! And guess what?! When they arrived, the fog had cleared just enough to get about 15 minutes of photos in before it got too foggy again. And the results are amazing! See for yourself!
Joe & Danielle, thank you for trusting us and rolling with the punches. You are both incredible people and we know we will have the BEST time with you guys throughout this process and we can’t wait for the wedding day!!! Enjoy this preview from our day together!
