Ballenger & Rachel Falls Park Greenville Engagement Greenville, SC

They met on Rachel’s birthday. They both happened to be out at Up on the Roof, right next to Falls Park downtown, and Ballenger saw his friend hanging out with Rachel and company. He went over to say hi, met Rachel, and well, the rest is history!

When it came to the proposal, Ballenger planned to do it at the beach while they were vacationing with his family. He kept the ring at her parents’ house to keep Rachel from discovering it. But while they were on their way, Ballenger got the call that the ring didn’t make the trip to the beach as planned! So members of his family sprang into action, and found a suitable stand in ring for him to use for the big moment.

Ballenger suggested they go out to the beach to take photos, and Rachel was immediately suspicious. But that didn’t stop what Ballenger planned; he got down on one knee, told her the story of the ring, and asked her to marry him. She said yes!
