Clay & Lizzie’s Proposal at The Wyche Pavilion, Downtown Greenville Greenville, SC

We opened Instagram to see a message request, asking about our availability to photograph a proposal midday Saturday early November. Thankfully we could say yes to that, then jumped on a call with Clay and his mom to chat through details and hear all about his plan to get Lizzie to say yes to spending forever with him!

Enter, the plan. Clay chose downtown Greenville, as he had already made plans for them at Halls for brunch that morning. I could see them meander down Art Crossing, even walk into a shop there, as they made their way away from Halls. I watched Clay direct Lizzie to the bridge, and casually chat as they walked hand in hand. Finally, Clay and Lizzie made their way into the Wyche Pavilion (originally, the rain plan, but ended up being the perfect spot!). Clay maneuvered Lizzie into the spot he wanted, and got down on one knee. You can see just how shocked and surprised Lizzie was, as the realization hit as to what was happening! She exclaimed a few words of disbelief, managed an excited and tearful nod, and met Clay on his knees.

These two are special. The magic surrounding them, the pure love and devotion… it was awe-inspiring and an incredible moment to witness. Clay, thank you for trusting us with this secret! We are absolutely thrilled for you and Lizzie! Let the wedding planning begin!!
