Intimate Outdoor Wedding at Hotel Domestique Jimmy & Megan | Greenville, SC

The best kind of weekend is one spent with your closest friends and family, celebrating the best day of your life, at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. And with your best furry friend, of course! That’s exactly what Jimmy & Megan had in mind when they booked Hotel Domestique for their intimate wedding weekend, and let us tell you what an incredible weekend it was. If you’ve been following along with us for the last month, you’ll notice one of two things. One, we’ve been photographing weddings every single weekend since the middle of March. Yay for a fabulous wedding season with couples we love so much! Two, we have worked with Katie Williams Events 4 times in the last month, and every weekend we’re in awe of just how unique, personalized and beautiful each day has been. A little plug here – if you’re not working with a wedding planner when it comes to your day, please consider one. Not only will it improve your experience (someone to lead and take over the to do list and keep you on track so you can enjoy being engaged!), but you’re guaranteed to walk away with a gorgeously designed day that will live on forever in your wedding pictures, and that your guests will be raving about all night long. Back to Jimmy & Megan. We walked into Megan’s room and were immediately greeted with a kiss – from sweet Riggs! You might remember him from Jimmy & Megan’s engagement session, and it’s safe to say he stole the show that morning. At least, until Megan put on her dress! We prepped the almost newlyweds for their first look and yes, they both had tears! (Seriously, scroll down and try to NOT smile and saw ‘awww’ as you do so) Hotel Domestique showed off with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and an intimate courtyard space for guests to dine and dance the night away. There are no words for the transformation the courtyard saw for the reception – you’ll just have to look for yourselves!

Jimmy & Megan, as you’re lounging on the beaches of Turks & Caicos, we hope you sneak a few moments away to relive your wedding day. We mean it when we say we love you guys! It has been the best weekend celebrating you both, and we can’t wait to get you two (plus Riggs) in front of our cameras again. It’s been an absolute joy and honor to celebrate you and document these moments! Enjoy!
