Jake & Landrie | Hendersonville Wedding

We have been waiting for Jake & Landrie’s wedding to get here for a long time, and it finally came!!! And we couldn’t wait to share the images!

But, let’s get real for a second first. Weddings are a huge deal. We all know this. There is so much planning and lead-up to a wedding. And why not?! It’s the day you get to start your new life together! And as professionals in the wedding industry, we love getting to be a part of something so big! But, yes we are saying it, there are much bigger things in life than weddings. GASP! Yes, it’s true. And we need to gain a little bit of perspective every once in a while. Jake & Landrie gave us just that.

You see, during their engagement, Landrie was diagnosed with Melanoma. Imagine planning your wedding while dealing with cancer. Not to mention, Landrie was in school finishing up her PA degree and studying for boards! But all we can say is that they have been an example to us of how to handle hard times. As Christians, they continued to trust the Lord and His plan. We know they still have a tough road ahead, just as many of us do. But if what we have seen so far is any indication of how they will handle it together, their story is going to touch many more lives yet! Jake & Landrie, thank you for your strong testimony! You have beautiful hearts!

As far as their wedding goes (oh yeah, that part!), we couldn’t have asked for anything better! When you get married in June in the Carolinas, you expect it to be a bit warm. But when we got out of the car at The Grand Highlands in Hendersonville, we actually thought we should’ve brought a jacket! It was a little chilly in the mountains! And with the perfect amount of clouds, it was a delightful day. Add in Jake & Landrie’s amazing families, and we had the makings of a perfect day!

Jake & Landrie, you are an inspiration to many. Keep loving and serving those around you as you fight your own battles. We are so proud to be your friends and your photographers. Enjoy this little preview of your wedding day!
