Jim & Emily Private Estate Engagement Downtown Greenville Greenville, SC

It’s not every day we get to do an engagement session at a private estate, near downtown Greenville. But when we were chatting with Jim & Emily about their session, and they brought up the possibility of using Jim’s parents’ home, we were excited to do something a little different! And we love the results! Plus, sweet Stella made an appearance, and we love getting the chance to meet our couple’s sweet dogs!

But let’s chat about Jim & Emily! They knew of each other ‘back in the day’, meaning they spent their high school years at schools right next to each other. They grew up in the same world of tennis, playing in the same tournaments for years, and had many mutual friends. It was a match just waiting to connect. And thanks to Bumble, they finally came together and within 1 month, the rest was history. They just celebrated 3 years of dating before Jim popped the question!

Jim planned a 40 plus person celebration at his parents’ lake house to help pull off this surprise for Emily. After all, she told him that she wanted family and friends there for the big moment! Once Emily was ready for their dinner at the marina, he walked her out to the point, where he got down on one knee and proposed! And everyone joined them for a fabulous celebration!
