WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN LOVE

GREENVILLE, SC & BEYOND

Ryan & Lauren Downtown Summer Engagement Greenville, SC

We guess you could say Ryan & Lauren were fated to be together. Their dads actually met first, their parents hit it off and became great friends, and as a result, Ryan & Lauren ended up falling in love. Much to the joy and support of their parents, we’ll add!

But the proposal! Let’s talk about that. Ryan & Lauren are long distance, with him at West Point. He had the weekend of July 4th off, and decided that was the perfect time to ask Lauren to marry him. With Lauren’s great-grandmother’s diamond ring carefully tucked away, Ryan looked for the perfect opportunity to come by so he could ask her that very important question.

One of Lauren’s favorite past-times is reading. In fact, she’ll tell you she’s a self-proclaimed book nerd, and one of her favorite spots downtown is M. Judson Booksellers, situated in an old courthouse. They made plans to drop by, and Ryan knew this was it. They made a game out of it – whoever exits with purchasing the most interesting/best book wins. They raced into the store, and while Lauren was on the hunt forĀ the book, Ryan already had his bag ready with the best win of all. They met back up outside the bookstore on the landing, and Lauren asked Ryan which book he found. Ryan reached into the bag, and pulled out her great-grandmother’s diamond ring, and said Marry Me. And if you ask us, that’s the best ending ever.

Ryan & Lauren, we had an amazing time with you both and we cannot wait for June to arrive and to celebrate you two with Katie Williams Events! We hope you love this sneak peek – more coming soon!
