Sage Avenue Rooftop Wedding in Downtown Greenville Morgan & Leslie | Greenville, SC

Well we have had some incredible brides this year! Of course, we think all of our couples are fantastic. But it seems like every time we arrive at a wedding this year, our first conversation is about the weather! Just about every wedding so far has had a decent chance of rain (Come on, Greenville! Get with the program!). And we alllllll know that’s just part of the deal, right? You never know if it could rain on your wedding day. It’s one of the big stresses on the mind of just about every bride! And understandably! But without fail, our brides this year have handled that stress beautifully.

Leslie is no exception! We walked into Avenue in Downtown Greenville this past Saturday, gave her a big hug and told her everything was going to be perfect! We knew she wanted the beautiful outdoor ceremony on the rooftop just like she had planned it. We weren’t 100% sure the weather was going to allow that. But Ryan heroically stayed on top of every single update to the rain chance percentage throughout the day. And when it dropped to 5% chance an hour before the ceremony, Jennifer with Love This Little City jumped into action to make plan A happen!

It couldn’t have worked out more perfectly. Because about 20 minutes after Morgan & Leslie excitedly walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, the skies gave way! It was close but it was worth it!
