Will was in major planning mode the week of February 8th. The details were falling into place for his proposal to Tracy – he was going to take her to the mountain they climbed very early on in their dating relationship, and a 30 person celebration party was in the works! There was just one wrinkle; Tracy came down with the flu. Cue allllll the anxiety! (We added that part, because we were feeling anxious for him as Will shared this story with us!)

All week long, Will touched base with Tracy’s mom, asking if she thought Tracy would pull through and he could still move forward. Tracy recovered (yay!), and 24 hours before the big day, Will asked Tracy to go to Bearwallow Mountain with him on a date. She informed him of her tentative plans to go to Charlotte that day. Oh no!!! But Will prevailed, and he got her up that mountain. It was a frozen, but beautiful winter wonderland up there, and the perfect proposal for Will & Tracy!
