Harrison & Alexis met in school at Clemson through a mutual friend, but they actually grew up 20 minutes away from each other! Talk about a small world and missed connections! They had to go all the way to Clemson to meet each other!
Now for the proposal, nothing was left to chance. Harrison planned every single detail. He told Alexis they were going on a trip, but wouldn’t tell her their destination until the month before. And even then, after he disclosed the details of their trip, he had their itinerary planned. Alexis might have gone into this trip thinking “this is it!!”, but Harrison wasn’t going to make it that easy for her, and threw in a spontaneous sunrise trip to Lake Louise. And it was there that he got down on one knee, at one of the most beautiful locations in the world, with the looming mountain range and turquoise waters at their back, successfully surprising Alexis, and she said yes!
While we don’t have the epic views that Lake Louise offers, Harrison & Alexis did want a more natural feel for their engagement session. In December, finding a location that still has color and life to it is harder to come by, but Milliken Arboretum fit the bill and delivered! And we are so excited for their wedding day next September at Glassy Chapel, continuing that mountain view vibe for all of their important life moments.
Congrats, Harrison & Alexis!!
