Summer William Penn Inn Wedding Caleb & Kimberlee | Gwynedd, PA

Alyssa grew up in Pennsylvania until she went off to college where she met Ryan. But her connections to Pennsylvania still run deep. So deep, in fact, that we have two weddings in 2017 that came directly from those PA relationships. The first was Tim & Heather’s Holly Tree Country Club wedding last month. And the second was Caleb & Kimberlee’s wedding this past weekend!

We travelled up to Gwynedd, Pennsylvania for this wedding. It was a special treat for Alyssa to get to see some people she knew from her time up north and both sets of her grandparents on the trip as well! And even with all of the people she knew, we had never actually met Caleb or really talked with Kimberlee before our initial consultation with them. And we fell in love with them right away! Kimberlee is one of the quietest, sweetest brides we have ever had. And Caleb is such a good guy! We know their beautiful marriage is just going to be fantastic!

If you’re following the themes running throughout this year for us, you probably know that we have been dealing with a lot of rain threats! It seems every week we are at the mercy of the weather. 30% rain one week, 60% the next. Well, as we were watching the weather for Caleb & Kimberlee’s day, it was 80% chance of rain even up until the day before! But, as we always tell our brides, the weather is nothing if not fickle. So just wait it out and we will see! And sure enough, it cleared (although it rained cats, dogs and all other animals the night before)! We know a lot of prayers went into that outcome and it was absolute perfection.

Caleb & Kimberlee, you guys are a treasure. We have been honored to get to know you both throughout this process. Caleb, we love the way you take care of Kimberlee, the laughter you two share, and Kimberlee, we adore that smile of yours that lights up the room. And those things were never more evident than on your wedding day! As you’re enjoying your honeymoon in the Dominican Republic and getting ready to head off to Washington, DC for a new life, we want to give you a little reminder of how beautiful your wedding day was through images.
