Associate Engagement Session: Tyler & Ashley Downtown Greenville, SC

Before we first met with Tyler & Ashley, we already knew 2 things. One: Ashley is a bridesmaid in one of our upcoming summer weddings (heeeeyyy Ross & Emily!). And two: Tyler & Ashley are as excited as they can be about having us a part of their day. So much so, that their inquiry form came into our mailbox 3 times! (Probably a total glitch on our end, BUT we’re taking it as exuberance for us 😉 haha!)

We fell in love with this sweet couple during our first Zoom meeting, and instantly knew they would click with our associate photographer, Savannah. AND WE WEREN’T WRONG. During their engagement session with Savannah, Tyler & Ashley connected with her on so many points, like how they live 20 minutes apart, and have mutual friends!

These two high school sweethearts are getting married in Greenville this fall; both of their families are here, and they got engaged on Liberty Bridge in Falls Park! There couldn’t be a better location than Ashley’s home church and Larkin’s Cabaret Room in the heart of downtown to host their wedding.

Tyler & Ashley met up with Savannah last week, on Tyler’s birthday, mind you! What does that say about him?! He wanted to wrap up his birthday weekend by spending it taking pictures with his sweet bride-to-be, celebrating this exciting new phase in their lives. Awwww! The way he looks at Ashley, the compliments he’d whisper to her walking from one location to the next, the quick random kisses he’d give her (unprompted!) during the session…it was incredible to see. He adores her. With good reason, too – Ashley is hilarious, so graceful, and kind-hearted. She is genuine in everything she says and is truly thoughtful. Her vibrant energy and excitement for life seeps out and infects everyone around her!
