Associate Wedding: Chris & Dana Wedding Columbia, SC

When we first met with Chris & Dana to talk about their upcoming wedding with our associate photographer, Savannah, they mentioned how important family was. How they planned to integrate various family heirlooms into their wedding day. Chris proposed to Dana with his Grandmother’s diamond. Dana wore her grandmother’s vintage earrings (and they SHINED), and carried one of grandmother’s handkerchiefs. Even Dana’s veil was worn by her cousin at her own wedding.

When we met their families, we instantly knew why family was so important to them. They’re a tight-knit group, sweet sweet people, and are such a joy to be around. Even during wedding party portraits of the girls, Chris’s Dad (also the Best Man!), was standing there drying off the bridesmaids’ bouquets, handing them out, and helping girls back on the trolley. Their families loved and served Chris & Dana all weekend long, and it was an absolute joy to witness!

Savannah took everything in perfect stride all day. Between 14 bridesmaids and 14 groomsmen (wow!) and a threat of rain all day, we found out once again why we chose Savannah to be a part of our R&A team! The entire day was as smooth as could be. Chris & Dana’s wedding parties were so easy to work with. And the rain held off until the very end of the day which was perfect!

Chris & Dana, you guys are a perfect fit and we are so glad Savannah could be there to photograph every moment of it! Enjoy this little recap of your perfect day!!!
