Aviation Inspired Engagement Session in Downtown Greenville Greenville, SC

Ryan & Alissa. They’re pilots. Aviation is in their blood. And they love being in the air. So there was no where else we needed to be for their engagement session than at the local Greenville airport, with their plane, for an epic aviation inspired engagement session. But first, some back story.

Alissa’s dad received his pilot license when he retired and took Alissa flying quite a few times, and they bonded over aviation. Following graduation from PA school, her dad asked her what she was going to do with her time off of work with her unique schedule, and said “why don’t you go become a pilot?” Alissa totally embraced that, as she too had developed a love for flying and started training. As fate would have it, she needed a new flight instructor during her training, and got Ryan. (Who incidentally, also has a father who is a pilot!)

There might have been some slightly maneuvering to set up the single flight instructor with the new (and single) flight student. And while neither of them initially acknowledged the growing energy, Ryan’s squad reminded him after every lesson with Alissa that there was something there. The entire flight school was rooting for them. And end of June, they went on their first date. The rest was history.

Needless to say, aviation is the heartbeat in Ryan & Alissa’s story. For the last year, Ryan & Alissa have been caretakers of Alissa’s dad’s plane. And they’ve been wanting to take the plane into this particular airport (where they’re now tying the knot!). So Ryan planned out the entire weekend. His birthday weekend. So Alissa had no idea that he’d make his special weekend all about her <3

Ryan & Alissa, we cannot tell you how much fun we had together and we cannot WAIT to celebrate you all again this September! It’s going to be an incredible and epic weekend! Enjoy this sneak peek of our time together!
