Aviation Themed Wedding at Triple Tree Aerodrome Ryan & Alissa | Greenville, SC

So many things we could say about Ryan & Alissa. Their names, for one. It made for a fun day with 2 sets of Ryans and Alyssa/Alissas running around! You might remember parts of their story from their engagement session, but to highlight it for you – they met in flight school, here in Greenville South Carolina, with Ryan as Alissa’s flight instructor. Their love of flying morphed into a love story and now they get to do what they love, with the one they love. And that brings us to their aviation themed wedding! Ryan & Alissa hosted their ceremony at the absolutely stunning Triple Tree Aerodrome, tying the knot next to the longest grass runway in the United States. With guests flying in to witness their union, planes rested by the guests as Ryan & Alissa exchanged vows. And as they exited their ceremony as husband and wife, their loves ones threw various shades of blue paper airplanes in the air to make for the most unique exit! It was thrilling to then see Ryan & Alissa jump in her dad’s plane and watch them fly off as husband and wife as they headed back to Greenville for their reception.

The airplane homage didn’t stop there. You’ll scroll below and see the passport inspired invitations, the model wooden airplanes hanging in the “clouds” over the dance floor inside the Huguenot, the suitcase packaged soap favors, and the customized cake featuring “Woodstock” (their airplane), Moose (their dog), and them!
