Blush & Dusty Blue Daniel Chapel Wedding at Furman University Michael & Lucy | Greenville, SC

Occasionally we have what are called double-header weekends where we photograph more than one wedding in a given weekend. It’s a TON of work and our feet are always sore, but we always come out with our hearts feeling so full! Lucy and Michael were our second wedding of a double-header weekend. And we wouldn’t ask for anything other than their wedding every single time we have a double-header! Our time with Michael & Lucy has always been so much fun! We had a blast at their engagement session way back in December! It was soooooo cold but they toughed it out and we felt so much closer to them after that session.

Well, for their wedding day, we can safely say it was NOT cold! Greenville’s Summer has officially arrived and we were sweating it out! But we never once heard Michael & Lucy complain. In fact, as we were constantly checking in on them to make sure they were ok, Michael said: “Hey the more pictures the better. This is all we will have when it’s over.” For one, that made our photographer hearts smile! But even more so, it showed Michael’s heart and attitude were nothing but amazing. The same goes for Lucy and the entire wedding party! All 26 of them!

Despite the heat, it was a beautiful, touching, fun day and we were so honored to be a part of it all. Michael & Lucy, we love you guys and we hope you enjoy this little opportunity to relive your wedding day all over again! More to come so soon!!!
