Brian & Stephanie | Greenville Wedding Photography Winter Mountain Wedding

Back in November, the Carolinas experienced some serious wildfires. Prayers for rain went up around the nation but the fires continued to spread. It was a scary time for all of us as our thoughts were with those closest to the fires and those who lost so much. But we have to admit, the specific thoughts and prayers sent up from the Nichols house carried a somewhat unique cause. We had Brian and Stephanie on our hearts. They live in Cleveland but were coming down to North Carolina to get married on New Years Eve. And their wedding venue? Right near the heart of the fire-swept mountains.

Thankfully, Brian and Stephanie’s venue was not damaged by the fires. And ultimately, had you arrived on December 31st not known there was a fire, you would never have been able to tell. Praise the Lord! The only hint you will get as you scroll through this gorgeous wedding is the scorched area at the top of the background mountains. We wanted to make sure we used those mountains in Brian & Stephanie’s images. They are such a stunning feature in that area!

They shared their first look with the mountains of North Carolina in the background. And as Brian and Stephanie start out their life together, we hope they will be reminded that no matter what mountains come their way, they will climb them together. We know they are going to do amazing things!
