Tye & Meghan | Greenville Wedding Photography Snowy Downtown Wedding

2017, what a year you’ve been so far! We welcomed our first full week of the new year preparing for the pending snow apocalypse coming to Greenville. Which, the fact that we were preparing for snow is awesome because Greenville rarely gets snow. But more than that, we were ALSO preparing for Tye & Meghan’s wedding in the heart of downtown Greenville.

Last time we were at Grace Church, it was 100 degrees for Houston & Allison’s gorgeous summer wedding. This time, it was less than 30 degrees. And lots of snow and ice. We work in extremes, people! A special thanks to the volunteers at Grace who spent hours that morning clearing away the snow and ice! What a blessing it was to see them joyfully serving Tye & Meghan and having fun in the process.

We want to give a quick shoutout to Tye & Meg’s wedding party. They endured the cold without complaining, kept laughing and smiling through it all, AND they were a joy all day long. Even if they couldn’t feel their toes (pretty sure we all doubted we still HAD toes after Saturday!). And Tye & Meghan were troopers. Even though you could see Meghan’s lips almost turning blue by the end of it, these two didn’t let anything rob them of the joy of marrying one another on Saturday. They took the pending snow by storm, made sure everyone was well stocked with blankets and coffee mugs, and embraced their day. And what a gorgeous day it was!
