Downtown Greenville Azaleas Spring Engagement Session Greenville, SC

Like clockwork, you can depend on azaleas throughout gardens in downtown Greenville to hit peak bloom the week of the Masters. Scheduling an engagement session right in the middle of azalea season? Guaranteed photo perfection. Add in a tucked away park in the heart of downtown Greenville, plus a bride-to-be with veteran wedding experience (wedding planner!) who finally gets to be the bride…. you get too many favorite images of one of our best-loved engagement sessions! Drumroll please while we introduce Harry & Savannah!

How did Harry meet Savannah? We’re so glad you asked. They connected online, but when Savannah came across Harry’s profile, she saw a photo of him with another girl. (Not sure of his strategy there, to be honest lol!) BUT Savannah recognized that girl, as someone she worked with at a summer camp 10 years ago. So naturally, one of her first messages to him included asking about the girl in the photo, to which he replied “that’s my sister”. And things started to click for Savannah; over the last 10 years, she’s seen Harry in her friend’s Instagram feed, commented on family photos of them, never knowing that one day, those would be her family photos <3

And Harry pulled off the best intimate proposal, and surprised Savannah! Savannah knew it was coming before the end of the year, and the closer and closer Christmas got, she was on high alert trying to figure it all out. A few days before Christmas, Harry had planned dinner and ice skating date, but still no ring. As they headed back to the house that same evening to exchange ornaments, Savannah resigned herself that she’d have to wait a little longer. Savannah opened her ornament, and read “engaged” with their names and the date, and was totally confused. Because he hadn’t proposed yet! She looked to him for clarity, not fully comprehending that this was the moment. Harry asked a very surprised Savannah to marry him, and she said yes!!!

They’re planning a destination wedding in Virginia this August, and we’re so very excited to celebrate them! These two hold a special place in our hearts, and if their engagement session was this good, their wedding is going to be epic! Congrats, Harry & Savannah! We love you guys!
