Historic Downtown Columbia Wedding at Hampton Preston Jared & Caroline | Columbia, SC

Oh Jared & Caroline. Where do we begin? You two are like a ray of sunshine, spreading joy wherever you go. And it spills over into each and every life you touch. We saw it firsthand at your rehearsal dinner, where your family and friends shared just how much your relationships with them mean, and their love for the two of you was palpable. If there’s anyone we want to celebrate over and over again, it’s you two!

There was no other location than Columbia. It’s the heartbeat of their story. And incorporating the stunning Hampton Preston Mansion and Gardens was the perfect backdrop for their fete. Caroline chose lilac as the color feature for her and Jared’s wedding, the it color of the late spring/early summer season. And can we say that we’re here for it!!! The bridesmaids dresses were to die for, and the subtle pops of lilac from the stationery to linens to florals have our hearts. But those florals… like a scene from a Bridgerton garden party! A seated, plated dinner, with towering floral pieces dripping with greenery, and stunning floral accented lighting in the center of the sailcloth tent. Mix in gold, creams and blush accents, and you have a stunning wedding reception fit for anyone entering The Ton. Guests loved the phone audio recording, and danced the night away alongside Cocky with one of the best bands we’ve heard so far this year. K. Elizabeth & Co outdid themselves on this one! What a joy it was to reunite with Katie and her team (plus some other favorite vender friends) to celebrate with the Ambrose family again (you can see all sorts of familiar faces at Brooks & Cate’s wedding!).
