WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN LOVE

GREENVILLE, SC & BEYOND

Beautiful Daniel Chapel Late Spring Wedding Ian & Maddie | Greenville, SC

We got a call on Monday morning. We had slept in a little bit as in our Monday tradition after a wedding weekend. Our feet get tired after being on them all day!!! But by this time, we were well into a hard day’s work with a pot of coffee and a Michael Buble soundtrack. On the other end of the line was Martha. Martha in the mother of our sweet, gorgeous bride from this past Saturday, Maddie.

Martha said some things to us that put us into instant happy tears mode. She told us that she couldn’t thank us enough for being a part of Ian & Maddie’s wedding and that it couldn’t have been the wedding that it was without us. She also said something incredible about a service we provide called the same-day slideshow. Basically it’s a slideshow of images we have captured throughout the wedding day, displayed for the guests at the reception. It’s a little more complicated than that, but that’s the jist. At Saturday’s venue, they actually had built-in tv’s all around the room which displayed our slideshow (a little nerve-wracking)! And Martha’s comment was how special it was for the Grandmothers, who weren’t able to get up and dance, to be able to sit and watch images of the wedding day! Finally, she thanked us for the impact we have had on Ian & Maddie.

That last one really got us. We haven’t gotten to spend a ton of time with Ian & Maddie outside of their engagement session and Maddie’s bridal session. But for a mother to comment on our impact on them was special. Really special! That’s what this “job” is all about for us. It’s a calling. To make a difference in the lives of those with whom we cross paths. Whether that’s hopefully creating magic on a wedding day or having a deeper impact on lives. That’s why we get up every morning.

So thank you Ian & Maddie for letting us into your lives. We look soooo forward to spending more time with you both! We think a round of golf (with Ian’s new driver!) and a dinner double date are in order!
