Kyle & Monica | Greenville Wedding

“Cento di questi giorni.”

From what we were told by Monica’s Italian father during his speech, this is Italian for “May you live a hundred years.” It was a sweet sentiment as part of a fantastic toast by the father of the bride. But it was just one of many things we learned this past Saturday about Italian traditions. And maybe the most important thing we learned is that we love Kyle and Monica even more than we thought!

Generally when there’s a hurricane coming your way on your wedding day, you are granted a little bit of leeway in the stress department. We know we would be praying like crazy that it wouldn’t rain! But with Kyle & Monica, you would’ve never known the weather was calling for 20mph winds and possible rain stemming from hurricane Matthew! But that’s just the kind of people they are. They both come from fabulous, wonderful families with tons of tradition!

And their wedding day was one for the books! From the beautiful Catholic ceremony to the fantastic reception decor (we wish we could shoot this reception every weekend!), Kyle & Monica had everything planned out perfectly! And it showed!

Kyle & Monica, we are no where near Italian (although we are actually pretty sure Ryan’s ancestors were Italian waaayy back), we feel like we can wish to you guys, “Cento di questi giorni.” And may that 100 years be everything you could ever wish for. And may you always look back on this day and remember what a beautiful day it was from start to finish! Enjoy this preview of your day!
