Midsummer Wedding in Downtown Greenville at the Huguenot Brett & Marion | Greenville, SC

Brett & Marion tied the knot the other week, and had the sweetest day celebrating with their loved ones! We started the day at Marion’s childhood home; seeing her get ready with her sisters and mom brought back memories of me (Alyssa!) getting ready at my parents’ home on our own wedding day! Some friends dropped by to see Marion’s mom, and mentioned how sweet it was to have these memories at their home and we couldn’t agree more.

Over to the Huguenot we went, so Marion could see her groom. Seeing Brett tear up a little at seeing his stunning bride was touching! And their smiles and joy were contagious! After their first look, we spent the rest of the afternoon photographing the two of them with their friends and family, all before the ceremony. Those kinds of days are the best – our couple gets to enjoy their day together, we’re able to capture more moments of them not only together, but with their friends and family, but it also frees up their time after the ceremony to eat, decompress, and take in the moments together before celebrating the night away. And that’s exactly what Brett & Marion did.

Some favorite things that stick out at us from their day? MARION’S DRESS. The vogue structure and lines of her dress, the side slit, classic profile and amazingly light material was the perfect choice for their summer wedding. And let’s talk about the stunning florals! We always love seeing what Statice creates and they nailed this design. You’ll have to scroll to see more! And of course, working with sweet Farrah and her team can’t go unmentioned – she originally referred this sweet couple to us and it’s always an honor when our planner friends entrust their couples with us. What a joy it’s been to work alongside them in preparation for this day!
