WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN LOVE

GREENVILLE, SC & BEYOND

Navy & Grey Downtown Winter Wedding Jordan & Laura | Greenville, SC

There are some professions where rain is a good thing. We understand that. But wedding photographer isn’t one of them (or any wedding professional for that matter!)! And it’s hard to pray against the rain when we know some are praying for it! BUT, for our couples’ sake, we do pray against it when it’s in the forecast. This year has been especially tough in the “rainy day” category. It seems like just about every time we pack up our gear for a wedding day, we are packing our umbrellas too.

Our first reaction is, “This stinks! Another rainy day!” But, we also believe that every day is a day the Lord has made. And as the children’s song goes, “We will rejoice and be glad in it!” And to be honest, it always turns out muuuuuch better than the worst case nightmare scenario in our heads where a monsoon destroys the entire city. In fact, bad weather days can be some of the most beautiful days! For an example, see Joe & Danielle’s recent engagement session where the fog took over everything!

If you need more proof, this blog post will help! Jordan & Laura’s wedding was a week and a half ago and we have been dying to share it! But with the Christmas season, we knew no one would be able to enjoy it. So today is the day! And while it didn’t actually rain for much of Jordan & Laura’s wedding day, it certainly had an impact.

But here’s a secret. If you’re a bride, especially a Ryan & Alyssa bride, you’re going to want to hear this! The secret is, let your wedding professionals do what they do best. Seems simple right? But the reason that we were able to get some of the beautiful images you’re about to see is because Jordan & Laura trusted us (and their amazing vendor team) to do our job. They focused on getting married. They didn’t put us in a box because the weather wasn’t exactly what they wanted. They said, “We have planned for this day and we are going to enjoy it no matter what!”

It couldn’t have been more perfect and much of that is due to Jordan & Laura’s amazing attitudes! Ryan walked up to have a quick chat with them at their head table during the reception and found Laura crying. Asking her if everything was ok, Laura said through tears, “I’m just so happy to be here.” Folks, that is the kind of people both Jordan & Laura are. And it’s why their day was so enjoyable for them and everyone who loves them so much!

So without further introduction, here’s a little preview of their beautiful day! Jordan & Laura, we love you guys and we can’t wait to hang out again soon! Here’s to Chipotle napkins and new marriages!
