WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN LOVE

GREENVILLE, SC & BEYOND

Our 2 Favorite Gifts

We don’t normally post on Saturdays, but since today is a special day, we wanted to share our Valentines Day letters to each other. We hope that you have amazing plans with your Valentine today! Enjoy the day together and be thankful for every second you get. Life is short. As for us, we will be taking it easy today, playing some games, watching Netflix, and just enjoying life together. It’s too easy for the most important things in life to get swallowed up by the important things. So today, we promise to focus on keeping first things first and we encourage you to do the same! Have a blessed day!

Dear Ryan,

Happy Valentine’s Day, my love. On a day that has become focused on giving gifts to express love, I’m thankful for the gift of our relationship. We have something that not many couples have, and that in and of itself is worth celebrating. The greatest gift we can give each other today is time. Time to relax, to enjoy each other’s laughter, to stay home and talk about us, about our future, about our dreams and fears, about our business, and about our family.

And that’s what today is all about. It’s about the power, the significance, the gift of our relationship. And I couldn’t be more thankful for you. My world, my life, would not be the same without you. Thank you for loving me, especially when I don’t deserve it. Thank you for supporting me when I doubt or get discouraged. Thank you for listening, when I can’t seem to make sense of life. Thank you for always believing in me, even when I am too scared to believe in myself. I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am if it wasn’t for you. Together, we’re a force to be reckoned with. And I wouldn’t want to go through life with anyone else but you.

Happy Valentine’s Day, to the man that I love with all my heart. I can’t wait to celebrate us.

Alyssa

P.S. I still love chocolate, jewelry and flowers as Valentine gifts. You know, just in case.

Dear Alyssa,

It all started with a wedding. They say hindsight is 20/20 and it’s true. Looking back now, I can see the exact moment that it finally clicked in my heart. I can tell you the exact moment at our friends’ reception that the light bulb went on and I was forever changed. I will forever keep that moment as a perfect photograph in my mind that will never fade, no matter what life brings.

“There’s something about Alyssa that I have never seen before. There’s something about her smile. A new brilliant light in her eyes. Something different in her spirit that I am just now realizing has been there all along.”

My only regret may be that I didn’t realize it sooner. But then again, I think we both agree this is how it was supposed to happen all along. We never realized how special it would be to look back and realize that the moment things changed for us was at a wedding. A wedding!!! Now weddings are a way of life for us! Weddings have a huge place in our hearts and forever will continue to have a special place. Weddings are personal to us. And that’s why we find it so perfect to be a part of weddings together every day. That’s a plan that could only be orchestrated by the Originator of love.

Now, over four years later, we are coming up on three years of marriage! I have felt my love for you growing steadily during that time. We have walked through some trying times together. But love never fails. Alyssa, you are the most amazing person I have ever known. You light up our home with love and beauty, even on sweats day. Or maybe especially on sweats day because I get to see the real you. And you, love, are truly beautiful inside and outside.

To my Valentine. Always grow. But never change. I love you to the uttermost.

Ryan
