We’ve never shed more tears on a wedding day than this one. Nor have we witnessed so many happy tears from the wedding party and guests than at Ryan & Jenny’s wedding! These tears of joy at the union of two incredibly special people, the true happiness at seeing a couple so loved come together was almost too much to handle as we captured the day. Witnessing the legacy of love and commitment that Ryan & Jenny have begun has truly been our honor, and one of our greatest joys this year.

The Proposal

We remember when we first heard about Ryan & Jenny. Actually, we remember meeting Jenny and her twin sister, Jessica, at Mark & Diane’s wedding last year! And as soon as Ryan popped the question, it was Diane that first told us about Jenny. As she talked about her really good friend and the kind of people Ryan & Jenny are, she stated, “we told them all about you guys. And Jenny said she can’t wait to meet you both.” A just a few days later, we heard from Ryan & Jenny!!!

The minute they walked in the door, we fell in love with them both (and even took a selfie to send to Mark & Diane!). It’s overwhelming, to be honest, when your brides and grooms send their best friends your way to document their journey into marriage. Overwhelming in a good way! It’s truly our greatest honor, the best kind of compliment, when our couples send their newly engaged friends our way. And it brings so much joy into our lives when we see our past couples at these weddings (where a group photo MUST happen!). The responsibility we feel, documenting these legacy moments for incredibly special people who invite us into their lives, overwhelms our hearts with true joy that we get to be a part of these moments. For not just one couple that we love, but for all of the couples they in turn send our way.

First Look Between a Bride and Groom

Ryan & Jenny’s first look truly brought us to tears. As we witnessed emotion overcome Ryan as he laid eyes on his bride for the first time, we too rapidly tried to blink back tears from behind the cameras. We watched Jenny lovingly wipe away Ryan’s tears, as her own fell. There was a moment no one dared to break, that no one wanted to end, as these two sweet individuals prepared to become husband and wife.
