Spring Outdoor Wedding in Clemson Garren & Savannah | Clemson, SC

We love our “job.” Or as we like to say, our calling. Those who are on the outside looking in – which, let’s face it, is pretty much everyone except us and our couples! – tend to think it’s hard work for us to come up with something nice to say about each of our adorable brides and grooms. “How do you guys come up with all of those positives?!” As though we have to Google nice things to say about other people so we have something to write about! Well, that’s not the case at all! While we struggle to find the right words sometimes, the superlatives are never enough to fully credit our amazing couples.

That being said, we know when we have been outdone. And in this case, Garren’s mom provided the exact right words in the form of a Facebook post on the morning of Garren & Savannah’s wedding. So we are going to share her words with you because we feel like nothing more needs to be said!

Here’s Lynn:

“The little baby born to us July 12, 1996 becomes a husband today. It’s a day Greg and I anticipated long ago, about the time that sweet baby boy began developing his character of tenderness, both deep thinking and wit, following God and developing friendships. It was then that we started praying for “that girl,” not knowing “who” but knowing there would be a special one that would stand by him one day and vow to love him and cherish him as long as they both shall live. It seems like just weeks or months since we started those prayers, but in reality it’s been years. And that day has come. Today we gain another beautiful daughter and our son who grew up much more quickly than we dreamed gains a godly wife. Thank you for your impact on him, friends. Whether you’re present with us today, we invite you to share in their union through continued prayers and rejoicing in God’s faithfulness.”
