Fall Wedding Celebration at The Poinsett Club Matt & Susannah | Greenville, SC

We love celebrating weddings at the Poinsett Club in downtown Greenville. Especially in the fall – it’s the perfect venue for a large party, with a cosy atmosphere, and various picture perfect spots around the Club. And when you have someone like Sprague Events executing a beautifully curated day, you know it’s going to be a good one!

But you know the best part?? Matt & Susannah. We probably heard Susannah utter over a dozen times “I’m just so happy today!” while wiping away tears. Their wedding day started at Susannah’s childhood home, which her parents recently renovated. We love that they chose a place so meaningful to their family, AND that it had the most dreamy interiors, plus the stunning Greenville Country Club Chanticleer course! We jokingly said that we’d move in if they were selling. (But also not joking lol!). Susannah shared a first look with her dad, brother, mother-in-law, bridesmaids, and Matt, and each and every one burst with emotion. Scroll below to see some of those special moments! It felt like one big house party, having friends and family gathered at the Pazdan home, as Matt & Susannah prepared to say I Do.

They completed their day at the same church Susannah’s parents got married, and celebrated at the Poinsett Club. We love the personal touches Matt & Susannah included in their day – the venue sketch was done by Susannah’s late uncle, who drew it for Susannah’s parents’ wedding invitations decades prior. Matt & Susannah also used her parents’ wedding guestbook as their own! Love that they have something to continually pass down, and keep for future generations! From heirloom jewelry, to thoughtful gifts in the tennis bracelet and monogrammed cufflinks, to personalized ceremony highlighting their relationship and faith, to a fun evening celebrating the newlyweds – everything was intentional, and speaks so much of Matt & Susannah.
