Matthew & Ellis | Greenville Wedding

There wasn’t a cloud in the sky.

Ellis carefully stepped off the trolley and began to walk across the green grass of Furman University. The forecast had been pretty daunting all week long, with chances of rain in the 40% range. But that fact had long-since left her mind as the sun made its presence felt for the first time all week. It was almost like the weather broke just for them!

“Hey babe!,” Ellis shouted across the lawn to Matthew, who was awaiting his first view of the gorgeous woman he couldn’t wait to marry.

Matthew knew how much work and effort had gone into this day. Especially from Ellis. He knew the long days of planning. The ups and downs they had experienced along the way. The sacrifices made by family and friends to make this moment special. But his mind was fully focused on the joy and simultaneous nervous energy he was feeling!

Ellis touched Matthew’s shoulder. He turned. And in a moment, two wonderful people changed forever.

Guys, this wedding is one of our new favorites! Matthew & Ellis are the sweetest people! Even on the morning of the most exciting and most crazy day of their lives, they were so kind! Ryan texted Matthew a few hours before the first look to coordinate everything and Matthew took the time to thank Ryan for making all of this happen smoothly.
