WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN LOVE

GREENVILLE, SC & BEYOND

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

We tell stories for a living. We tell love stories for each and every one of our couples. We tell stories that last a lifetime! But now, we are going to tell a slightly different story: The Story Of Ryan & Alyssa. Obviously, we think this is the BEST love story of all time! We don’t want to forget it. And the best way to remember is to write it down! So follow along as we tell our story, one piece at a time!

If you’re just joining us, catch up here!

Part 1: You Make Me Feel So Young
Part 2: Daddy’s Little Girl
Part 3: Haven’t Met You Yet
Part 4: Can’t Help Falling In Love

We hope you’ve enjoyed our journey so far. We hope you have seen a little glimpse into how we became who we are today! And most of all we hope you have enjoyed the wonderful images *coughcough* from our past! We can’t promise they are going to get better any time soon! Let’s move on!

We want to take you to one of our favorite places in the world on one of the best days of our lives. The place? The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. The day? November 19, 2011.

Ryan pulled the picnic basket out of the trunk of the car. He had made chocolate-covered strawberries along with a full picnic lunch. Picnics are one of our favorite traditions during the summer and fall! Ryan was on a mission and he wasn’t waiting around. We immediately staked out our patch of grass on the hill in front of the statue of Diana. We had the perfect view of the Biltmore house in the distance!

As we finished up our lunch and sipped on our sparkling grape juice, Ryan began to talk about our relationship up to that point. We had been through our ups and downs, he would say. But ultimately we knew we had found something special. As he finished this special monologue, he reached into the picnic basket and pulled out the most important item he brought with him.

He knelt on one knee. In that moment, our lives changed forever.

Alyssa was surprised, which was one of Ryan’s biggest goals! She was so surprised in fact that she didn’t say yes for about a solid 30 seconds! A moment we will never forget.

November 19, 2011. There were many moments that led us that far. But we look at it as a date that set us in full motion to where we are today! We spent the next 6 months of our lives preparing for our wedding! And you just might get to hear about that day next time!
